Hello! My name is Cas, I am from Longmont, Colorado, almost directly west from Grand Junction, past the mountains. I am currently a sophomore going for my business administration marketing degree. My goal after college is to open my own musical theater themed cafe, where the community can unite and share their love for performance and all things theater. I am the First-Gen Support Center’s student event coordinator, helping plan and bring first-gen centered events straight to the students. My first experience in event planning was my freshman year of high school, where I coordinated both the catering and outreach for the western Rocky Mountain Equality inclusive fall dance. I strive to create fun events that can be enjoyed by everyone and to create inclusive spaces for students.

In my free time, I love to draw and write stories. I am very centered in creativity, making my own characters and worlds. I love musical theater! I was in 4 productions through my time in high school, my favorite being Footloose. My special interest is coffee. I love to come up with different flavor combinations for drinks—like a coffee mixologist. My top two colors of the rainbow are purple, mainly lavender, and blue. My favorite animals are birds and butterflies; I aim to have a pet bird in the future. I also love traveling! I’ve been to several places within the U.S., including New York and Hawaii, and have been to Kyoto, Japan. I live most of my life laughing, creating, and enjoying company—I greatly believe that positive focus leads to a more colorful and energetic time!
