Colorado Mesa University's fire protection system includes varied devices such as pull stations, covers, smoke and heat detectors, air handle unit detectors, horns and strobe lights. Several buildings have interior sprinkler systems. All equipment is checked and maintained by our trained Facilities Services personnel. Additionally, the Grand Junction Fire Department regularly inspects the systems.
