Apply online today! No additional application required to be eligible for CMU promise.

Must complete the FAFSA or CAFSA
Adjusted gross income (AGI) information is pulled from the FAFSA/CAFSA. The FAFSA and CASFA applications for the 2024-2025 academic year are now available.

Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree
Choose your path on a financial aid eligible undergraduate degree (certificate, associate or bachelor degree). The CMU Promise does not apply for non-degree seeking or master/doctoral students.

Must meet residency requirement
You must be a resident of Archuleta, Delta, Dolores, Eagle, Garfield, Grand, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Jackson, La Plata, Lake, Mesa, Moffat, Montezuma, Montrose, Ouray, Pitkin, Rio Blanco, Routt, San Juan, San Miguel or Summit Counties; or be a member of the Southern Ute, Mountain Ute, or Uintah-Ouray Tribes.
