Apply online today! No additional application required to be eligible for CMU promise.

Complete financial aid application
Adjusted gross income (AGI) information is pulled from the FAFSA or CAFSA. The FAFSA and CASFA applications for the 2025-2026 academic year are not yet available.

Choose your degree
Choose your path on a financial aid eligible undergraduate degree (certificate, associate or bachelor degree). The CMU Promise does not apply for students who have a prior Bachelor's degree, non-degree seeking or master/doctoral students.

Confirm residency
You must be a Colorado resident or a member of the Southern Ute, Mountain Ute, or Uintah-Ouray Tribes.

First-time, returning and transfer students who are traditional age or adults are all eligible if other criteria are met.
