Hi, I’m Madison Plank! I’m a proud first-generation graduate of Colorado Mesa University and now an IRIS Advisor—genuinely excited to support students as they experience college life. I deeply value kind, human-centered communication and do my best to lead with empathy and understanding. During my time as a student, I worked in Residence Life, TRIO and Upward Bound, where I learned the importance of creating spaces that feel safe, supportive, and real. Whether I’m helping with class schedules, listening to someone vent, or just sharing a laugh—I’m here to meet you where you’re at.
I have a background in psychology and plan to continue my education once I get to know myself a little more (growth isn’t always a straight line, and that’s okay!). I truly believe anyone can be a learner, in their own time and in their own way. Outside of work, I’m just a regular person with a big heart. I love animals (I live with a small zoo), and I’m almost always doing something creative—especially doodling, reading, or getting way too into a video game. I’m an introvert at heart, but a wannabe extrovert in spirit.
My office is open—for fidget toys, academic questions, a quiet place to breathe, or a real heart-to-heart. If you’re working on supporting yourself, I’ll be right here to help support you, too. :)
