Hi Mavs! My name is Carisa Rhiness, and I am excited to be back supporting you at CMU. As an "Air Force brat", I have had the privilege of living in two countries and multiple states, allowing me to see a piece of the world. I recently graduated from CMU with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, where I assisted students as an Equipment Specialist, aiding in videography and photography student projects.
Following my graduation from CMU, I worked as a 3rd-grade tutor in District 51, which further cultivated my love of working with students. In this role, I saw the importance of advocating for students and helping them accomplish their dreams. As a first-generation student myself, I am here to encourage you throughout your college career.
In my free time, you’ll find me reading my favorite books, running, watching movies, going to coffee shops, and taking my Boston Terrier for car rides.
