Event details
Educational Access Services (EAS) is hosting a campus-wide community-building event centered on accessibility to take place on April 23, 2026! EAS invites anyone on campus with a heart for accessibility of any kind to join us for this special event.
Accessibility is an issue that touches the lives of everyone at some point in their journey on planet Earth. It isn’t just physical but also encompasses identity, mental/emotional, financial, social, educational, and other aspects. An individual’s ability to engage in community, be healthy, and thrive is intertwined with ease of access. Accessibility is vital to Colorado Mesa University and is an exciting space to innovate meaningful change, whose implications will reach far beyond the Grand Valley. A human-scale university views accessibility not as a bare minimum requirement imposed by governments and higher powers, but as a critical space for evolution, growth, learning, and sustained change in campus culture and lifestyle, thereby providing access to anyone: students, employees, community members, and visitors from across the globe.
