A Grand Junction native and Colorado Mesa University alumnus, Nicholas Gledhill started his musical career here in the valley performing with the Grand Junction Symphony and the Grand Junction Rockestra. In addition to his BA in music performance, he has earned a master's degree in horn performance from Colorado State University and is currently completing his DMA at The University of Alabama.

Gledhill spends his summers at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and Festival, acting as the summer program coordinator. He also performs with the festival ensembles and coaches some chamber ensembles. During his time in Alabama, he was the brass ensemble coach and horn instructor for UA's Community Music School. In addition to his duties at CMU, he is also the 3-8 Music Instructor and Band Director at Holy Family Catholic School.

An avid orchestral and chamber musician, Gledhill is constantly seeking new performance opportunities. He regularly tours with the Mesa Winds, CMU's faculty wind quintet. He currently performs with the Grand Junction Symphony as co-principal horn. Previously, he was acting 3rd/Utility horn with the Starkville Symphony.
