DoriAnn Adragna, PhD, is a proud Colorado Mesa University alumna, earning her bachelor's degree in Psychology from CMU (formerly Mesa State College). As a Maverick, she served as Vice President and President of the Psychology Club and founded a student organization that connected college volunteers with children and teens in foster care to inspire them to pursue higher education.
She continued her education at the University of Denver, where she earned both her Educational Specialist (EdS) degree in School Psychology and her PhD in Child, Family and School Psychology. During her doctoral training, Adragna worked as a school psychologist in a suburban Colorado school district and completed a psychology externship at JFK Partners, receiving specialized training in the assessment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disabilities through an interdisciplinary team.
After earning her doctorate in 2015, Adragna returned to the Western Slope to serve the community that helped shape her. She is the co-founder of Peak Professionals, an integrated medical and behavioral health clinic and the founder and president of Peak Pediatric Psychology. Her clinical work focuses on comprehensive psychological evaluations, consultation and counseling for children, adolescents and their families.
As an adjunct faculty member at Colorado Mesa University, Adragna enjoys helping students connect psychological theory with real-world clinical practice while fostering curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for lifelong learning.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, camping and exploring the beautiful Western Slope of Colorado.
