Katharyn Kubista teaches a range of courses in Occupational Therapy. Kubista believes everyone has the ability to learn, so she focuses on creating an inclusive and interactive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas and interact with fellow classmates. Her goal is to foster critical thinking, creativity and a genuine curiosity for lifelong learning.
Kubista's scholarly interests center on neurorehabilitation, dementia and mental health.
Outside of the classroom, Kubista enjoys exploring new places and all outdoor activities with friends, spending time with her animals, visiting family and thinking of how to make the world inclusive for everyone. Whether inside the classroom or out in the world, she believes learning is most powerful when it’s connected to passion, purpose and community.
