Michelle King is a licensed clinical social worker in Colorado and the Bachelor of Social Work program director at CMU. She brings 12 years of clinical experience that has been focused on work with children, adolescents and their families.

Clinically, King has specialized in the area of grief and loss by providing individual and group counseling interventions to children and families who are facing chronic or terminal illness or who have experienced the expected and unexpected death of a loved one. Her clinical experience has involved practice in hospice organizations, children's bereavement centers, family counseling centers and schools as an outpatient therapist.
