Kelsey Chrane earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with minors in chemistry and Spanish from Abilene Christian University and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Baylor College of Medicine.

Chrane has practiced in orthopedic surgery throughout her career. Her experience includes three years in orthopedic trauma surgery at Ben Taub General Hospital, a level I trauma center in Houston, Texas and five years in orthopedic spine surgery in Colorado and Montana. She is passionate about caring for underserved populations and has traveled abroad numerous times to help provide care in remote communities in Central America and Haiti.

Chrane is committed to teaching from a clinical perspective with hands-on applications, integrating her experience into the classroom in a way that makes the content more accessible to students. In her free time, she enjoys running, biking, skiing and traveling.
