About the CAS
The Center for Academic Support (CAS) provides FREE tutoring to CMU and CMU Tech students in a variety of subject areas. Peer tutors are available to support your learning and help you with your questions. We offer three different tutoring options to our students to assist with in-person and remote learning.
Making Appointments at CAS
To create or cancel a tutoring appointment you can either email us at [email protected] or visit us on the third floor of Tomlinson Library room 305.

Appointment Limitations:
- If a student is more than 15-minutes late to their appointment, that appointment is lost and any other student who walks in is able to take that spot
- A student can make up to 2 appointments per day per subject
- A student can make up to 2 reoccurring appointments a week per subject
- If a student misses more than 2 of their reoccurring appointments without any communication, the reoccurring appointment will be canceled
Although this might feel inconvenient, these policies make sure other students on campus also have the chance to get the help they need.
