Kelly Coffin received an associate degree in respiratory therapy from Washburn University and practiced for five years as a registered respiratory therapist before returning to school to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Coffin is lead instructor for nursing fundamentals. She specializes in advanced medical and surgical nursing. She is employed as a critical care coordinator and has a true passion for practicing and teaching nursing.
Coffin currently works as a charge Registered Nurse in the intensive care unit at St. Mary's Hospital and has been there for the past 10 years. Coffin is ACLS, TNCC and PALS certified. Coffin and her husband have two children whom attend the elementary school where Coffin volunteers on a weekly basis.
