Application Steps
Step 1
Learn About Apprenticeships
There are multiple ways to explore an apprenticeship and see if it is right for you:

Attend a classroom presentation

Get referred by an instructor

Stop by the Apprenticeship Office during business hours
(Appointments are preferred, but we are happy to talk if you drop in and we are available)
You can also submit questions through our inquiry form. Not ready to meet yet? No problem! Ask questions first and decide your next steps later.
Step 2
Meet with our Team!
A one-on-one meeting with our Apprentice Team is required for all students interested in apprenticeship.
During this meeting, you will:

Learn how apprenticeship works

Review expectations and requirements
-
Talk about your career goals and interests
-
Find out if an apprenticeship is a good fit for you
An apprenticeship is a big commitment, and this meeting helps make sure you feel informed and confident before moving forward.
Step 3
Apply and Get Work-Ready
If you decide to move forward:

You will submit a resume directly to our Apprentice Team

You will complete the official Apprenticeship Application
We will also:
-
Conduct an interview to make sure you are ready for the workplace

Help with resumes and interview skills if you need extra support
Our goal is to make sure you feel prepared and confident before meeting with employers.
Step 4
Interview With Employers
Once you are ready:

We will connect you with employer partners

You will interview for available apprenticeship positions

If selected, you will be hired by an employer
Step 5
Becoming an Official Apprentice
You are officially an apprentice once:

You are hired by an employer partner and
-
You are enrolled or accepted into the required coursework
At this point, you will receive an official Apprenticeship Acceptance Letter and you can proudly call yourself an apprentice!
