Nita Henry, Keynote speaker for MLK Day

CMU will host nationally-renowned speaker and civil rights leader Nita Mosby Tyler on Monday, January 21 as the university celebrates Martin Luther King Jr.

Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to the keynote address at 5:30pm in the Love Recital Hall.

Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

Prior to the keynote address, there will be a MLK Day march. There will be buses picking up students and community members from parking lot R7 (Parking Map) from 1:30-1:45pm. The buses will drop off participants at the Handy Chapel. From there, the march will head to City Hall and end at Moss Performing Arts Center on CMU's campus.
