Hello Mavs! My name is Carianne Hatch and I have been with CMU since 2018. I am the Director of Student Services at the CMU Tech campus. Our department houses the IRIS Advising center at the Tech campus.
I am originally from Phoenix, AZ . I attended Seton Hall University where I played volleyball for the Pirates and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and concentration in Sport Management. I earned my Master’s in Education from the University of Phoenix. I have held various positions including coach, swim teacher, academic advisor, high school teacher, and Mom. My husband and I have four boys who keep us moving constantly. Some of my interests include hiking, lifting, running, reading, camping, riding motorcycles, watching the sunrise, playing games with my kids, and spending time with my family and friends.
I am passionate about helping students answer the questions they didn’t even know they had. I am a firm believer that everyone takes a different path to get to where they are going, everyone needs a little help, and it’s okay to not know the answers- all you have to do is ask questions.
