Western Colorado Community College in partnership with Colorado Mesa University and through the Community Education Center supports lifelong learning. We are committed to providing educational opportunities for personal enrichment or professional development. We offer courses in a variety of formats and timeframes to meet your busy schedule. 

We have classes that are offered in person, with all COVID-19 safety protocols including social distancing and required face coverings; classes offered remotely through Zoom; classes in a blended format where you can choose to be in person or remote through Zoom; and classes offered completely online with our Ed2Go online offerings.

At Colorado Mesa University, Western Colorado Community College and the Community Education Center we are committed to offering flexible options for you to still pursue the learning that you want and need.

School District 51 scholarships are available for all WCCC Summer Camps. Register for camps by June 30, use promo code summer2021sd51 and enrollment is free! Charter, Private and Home School students are not eligible but call CEC 970-255-2800 for other possible options.

Online Learning, Convenient, Affordable, Anytime, Anywhere, Just a click away!

Western Colorado Community College and the Community Education Center(CEC) also offer an exciting array of noncredit online courses through our partnership with Ed2Go. There are hundreds of courses offered each month. These courses are instructor-led by experts in the field, informative, convenient, and highly interactive. Most courses are six-weeks long and available 24/7. Courses are project oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on-assignments, discussion areas, supplemental links and more. Many of these online classes are also available in a self-paced format that can be started at anytime and completed on your schedule.

Give the Gift of Lifelong Learning!

The CEC offers Community Education classes that are "fee based". They do not receive any state or local tax funds and are completely supported by your tuition. Because of this we are unable to offer any discounts at this time.
If you are interested in developing and teaching a community education course please contact the Community Education Office at 970.255.2800. We reserve the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment. A full refund will be given if this occurs.

Course withdrawal policy:
Notice of withdraw from a scheduled class must be received three business days prior to the first day of class in order to receive a refund. Notice must be given to the Community Education Office at 970.255.2800 or via email cec@coloradomesa.edu
