Allison Vogel is the program director and lead instructor for the Pharmacy Technician Program at WCCC. Her teaching style can best be described as interactive, supportive and transparent. Vogel encourages her students to have a voice in the classroom, ask questions when they come up and participate actively in all conversations and activities regardless of their level of confidence and knowledge. Vogel believes the classroom doesn't’t belong to her, it belongs to the students; creating a learning community is her first priority.

Vogel is a volunteer advocate for Donor Alliance of Colorado, an organization that's near and dear to her heart. She lost her son in a car accident five years ago and he was an organ donor, so advocating for organ, eye and tissue donation is one of her greatest passions.

In her free time, Vogel enjoys all the wonderful things Colorado has to offer such as hiking, biking, camping, paddle boarding, snowshoeing and exploring new places. She loves to travel with her husband and children and spends a lot of time enjoying her fur family of three dogs and four cats.
