Liz Howell serves as an Instructor of Applied Business at Colorado Mesa University’s CMU Tech, bringing more than a decade of experience in higher education and a professional background in business operations, human resources, leadership and organizational management.
Howell holds a Master of Education in Teaching and Leadership from Colorado Mesa University, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership and Business from the University of Wyoming and an Associate of Applied Science in Administrative Office Technology from Mesa State College.
Howell's passion for business extends beyond the classroom. Having owned and operated a small business in western Colorado, she understands firsthand the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship. She is a lifelong learner who enjoys exploring business topics, studying leadership and management strategies and understanding what makes organizations successful.
Howell is excited to share that curiosity and practical experience with students, helping them apply business concepts to real-world situations and develop skills for professional success.
