Greg Burrell started started his career in linework in 1977. After six months, he was enrolled in the IBEW Apprenticeship Training and completed the requirements in the four-year period. After achieving his journeyman lineman status, Burrell was asked to move to a remote service center. He spent a decade there, eventually becoming operations manager. In 2001, he took a position that required him to travel and conduct safety training for electrical cooperatives.
Burrell's teaching style focuses on job hazard analysis and safety.
