GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Colorado Mesa University’s Cultural Inclusion Council (CIC) will host its 8th Annual CIC Fashion Show on Saturday, March 7 in CMU's Meyer Ballroom. This year’s theme is 100 Years of Culture, celebrating the university's centennial year and honoring the range of cultures and identities that make up the Maverick community.
The event is hosted and produced by the CIC, a student-led organization that organizes educational and promotional events aimed at connecting students and encouraging open dialogue for individuals to better understand one another.
Styles featured in the show will be curated and modeled entirely by students, representing their heritage and individuality through their runway looks.
The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 7 pm, featuring appetizers and live music. The fashion show will follow at 7:30 pm and conclude at 9:30 pm. Appetizers are included with all ticket purchases, and a cash bar will be available. Formal attire is encouraged.
The event is open to the public, with tickets available for purchase at tickets.coloradomesa.edu
CMU students can attend free of charge with an RSVP and must sign in through MAVzone to access their ticket.
