Last fall, Colorado Mesa University mourned the loss of Brett Ojiyi, a CMU student who passed away as a result of an off-campus tragedy.
Last year’s preliminary reports were confirmed by the office of the Twenty-First Judicial District Attorney Dan Rubenstein who informed CMU officials Thursday that no charges will be filed related to the incident.
While the news may bring closure for some, the decision reminds us all of the tragic loss suffered by the entire CMU community.
