Great West Beer Fest Fundraising Supports Over 150 Student Clubs and Orgs
On Sept. 18, 2026, Colorado Mesa University will host the annual Great West Beer Fest, an event that directly supports over 150 student clubs and organizations on campus. Community members ages 21 and older are welcome to attend.
For many students at CMU, joining a club is a way to connect, build friendships and grow professionally. More than 3,400 students are involved in CMU clubs and 100% of the profits from this event go towards CMU’s student clubs.
Clubs are an amazing opportunity for Mavericks to explore CMU and find their sense of belonging. With over 150 clubs, there are extensive opportunities for students to align with a group that they enjoy. By attending Beer Fest, individuals are directly contributing to clubs financially. This is crucial as clubs often use these funds to partner with other clubs, present groundbreaking research, or host events for other students to join their club.
The annual Great West Beer Fest brings the community together in a lively setting on CMU’s Delta Field. Attendees can partake in beer tasting, enjoy food from food trucks, listen to music and participate in yard games.
