The Colorado Mesa University Foundation has been recognized for its efforts in strengthening educational opportunities at Colorado Mesa University by earning a Candid Gold Seal.
The Candid Gold Seal of Transparency is a nationally recognized mark verifying that a nonprofit openly discloses its financials, leadership demographics and strategic goals. This is a prestigious symbol in the fact that it allows supporters of the university to establish trust and visibility that in turn results in an increase in contributions that support CMU students seeking an opportunity for a better life through education.
"We are proud to have earned the Gold Seal of Transparency from Candid. This distinction reflects the CMU Foundation's dedication to human-scale giving, responsible stewardship and serving the students of CMU,” said Tish Saunders, CMU Foundation Board of Directors President.
As CMU and Grand Junction continue to grow, it is essential to work collaboratively with the community to support Mesa County students' access to a college education. A Candid Gold Seal of Transparency is just one signal of the CMU Foundation supporting this goal.
