Go behind the scenes of a big project that yielded big results

Colorado Mesa University students and faculty embarked on a bold project to test and monitor the wastewater from the residence halls to identify the presence of COVID-19 amongst students living on campus. The cross-disciplinary process included engineering, biological sciences, and math and statistics departments. It was an essential tool in keeping students on campus and mitigating the spread of the virus to the CMU community. The project involved The Sabeti Lab and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Watch how it all unfolded and how much was accomplished!
