River Photographer at CMU

Award-winning river photographer and author Tim Palmer will present a talk and slide show in Colorado Mesa University’s Meyer Ballroom on Monday, April 16, at a free event organized by CMU’s Hutchins Water Center.

Palmer is the author of 25 books about rivers, conservation and adventure travel. His presentation starts with a celebration of the adventure of river travel, comparing the Colorado River to other great North American rivers. He will review the history and successes of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. Learn more about Tim Palmer’s work at timpalmer.org.
