Come support CMU Table Tennis as we prepare for our first NCTTA tournament on November 19, while having fun playing table tennis!

This is a “friendly” tournament. We will follow a relaxed version of the official USATT/ITTF rules, USATT Rules

Matches will be best 3 of 5 games. Each game played to 11 points, with service changing every 2 points. The center line is not used for singles matches, and you may serve to or from anywhere behind the table.

We won’t be enforcing most clothing or equipment requirements, although you should wear appropriate clothing, including non-marking shoes.

Format:
1st Round: Round Robin (a group of 3-5 players at one table, you play a match with every other player on the same table)
2nd Round: Single-Elimination, groups determined by results from round robin

We may change the format, add events, or change the number of games per match, depending on the number of players.
