Culinary Arts in Telluride

Technical Certificate in Food Preparation. In Telluride.

Earn college credit and experience to become a professional chef.The Technical Certificate in Food Preparation prepares students for entry-level food preparation positions in the hospitality industry. The program provides training in food safety, kitchen and bakeshop production, and techniques of cooking and food presentation. Students who successfully complete the technical certificate are prepared to continue study towards an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Culinary Arts or a Bachelor of Applied Science in Hospitality Management from CMU.

 Financial aid available for qualified students.

Courses for a Certificate in Culinary Arts will be offered in Telluride by Western Colorado Community College, a division of Colorado Mesa University. Spring 2018 courses start April 9, so apply now.

Program Courses

Classes will be held at the Telluride Convention Center, 580 Mountain Village Blvd., Telluride. Classes are four days a week, Tuesday-Friday from 8am-1pm, unless otherwise noted.
