ACCUPLACER test is a computer-adaptive testing program utilized by colleges and universities for correct course placement in English, Mathematics, and Reading. Students whose ACT/SAT scores are below a specific number in these areas may need to test. Please contact the Testing Center for questions about which tests may be needed. ACCUPLACER tests are un-timed and self-paced. Students should take their ACCUPLACER tests before their scheduled Student Orientation or before meeting with an advisor.

Payment and Scheduling

$17 per subject is due at the time of scheduling. The student may bill their student account or pay over the phone with a debit or credit card. Payments via any other form (cash, cashier's check, check, etc.) must be taken to the IRIS Desk in lobby of Lowell Heiny Hall and the receipt brought to the testing center to schedule. All payments are prepaid and non-refundable. There is a $20 rescheduling fee, which is valid for 6 months from the original test date.

If you live in the Grand Junction area, we encourage you to utilize the walk-in option and to plan ahead so that you are assured a testing seat.
