Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (PTECH)

Students attending an area high school can choose a four-, five- or six-year pathway to complete their high school education concurrently with an associate of applied science in one of these majors:

  • Machining
  • Welding
  • Mechatronics
  • Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Fire Science
  • Veterinary Technology
  • Medical Lab Tech
  • Medical Office Assistant
  • Information and Communication Technology
  • Construction Technology
  • Construction Electrical
  • Electric Lineworker
  • Land Surveying and Geomatics
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Pharmacy Technician
  • Wildland Fire Fighting

Tuition is fully funded through the state’s PTECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools) program. See below to see which programs are available at your high school. Please speak with your high school counselor if you are interested in in one of these programs.

  • Partnership between Mesa County Valley School District 51, CMU Tech, and local industry employers
  • Students can earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree at the same time they are earning their high school diploma.
