Good physical and emotional health is important for a successful college experience. The Colorado Mesa University Student Wellness Center's goal is to provide quality, accessible medical and behavioral services.

Medical Appointments

At this time, the Student Wellness Center is open for in-person medical appointments only. To schedule a medical appointment call 970.644.3740 ext. 4. If you have flu symptoms, please inform the Student Wellness Center when calling to schedule an appointment.

Telehealth Behavioral/Therapy Appointments

Students can schedule telehealth appointments by calling the Student Wellness Center at 970.644.3740 ext. 4. All behavioral health services including appointments with therapists are held via virtual telehealth appointments. There will be no in-person behavioral health services at this time. If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious or simply need to talk with someone, we recommend that you setup a telehealth appointment today.

In case of a mental health emergency, please call 911. Locally, West Springs Hospital provides walk-in services and 24/7 assessment by calling 970.201.4299.  Statewide crisis services can be reached at 844.493.8255 or text “TALK” to 38255. The National Suicide Prevention hotline is 800.273.8255.


Students using the Student Wellness Center are required to pay a $15 medical and $5 counseling co-pay (HMO patients may have a separate billing arrangement). An additional fee will be charged for special services which include: procedures, vaccinations, laboratory tests, etc. These fees are outlined on the student health services fee schedule available at the health center.
