COSI Mesa County Eligibility Criteria:
  • Mesa County students
  • Preference given to those living on campus
  • 250% of Pell

COSI Montrose County Eligibility Criteria:

  • Montrose County residents
  • Awarded to students attending the CMU Montrose campus
  • 250% of Pell

COSI Delta County Eligibility Criteria:

  • Delta County students
  • Preference given to those living on campus
  • Can attend either the main campus or Montrose campus
  • 250% of Pell

COSI Scholar Expectations

  • Contact with a COSI advisor or COSI peer advisor at least twice each semester (in-person or over the phone)
  • Attend at least two COSI sponsored activities each semester
  • Be enrolled as a full-time student (full-time is defined as a minimum of 12 credit hours)
  • Earn a cumulative 2.0 GPA each semester
  • Complete the FAFSA by December 1st
  • Freshmen: attend a mandatory COSI orientation
  • Seniors: meet 1:1 with a COSI advisor during the first semester of senior year regarding the transition from college to career and graduation requirements
