It will be our pleasure to host Ms. Rosy Aburto McDonough on our campus as we help our community celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Rosy has been a business consultant and mentor throughout her professional career. She was recently named Director of the Minority Business Office for the State of Colorado. November: El Día de los Muertos
CMU Professor of Spanish Dr. Mayela Vallejos-Ramírez will present information on her 2015 trip to Oaxaca, Mexico, where she witnessed first-hand this marvelous cultural celebration. During this week she will also recreate a typical altar on the second floor of Escalante Hall.

CMU Music department and Dr. Luis Silva-Villar of the Spanish Program will present a tribute to the Nicaraguan poet Rubén Darío and the Spanish composer Rogelio Villar.
