Check to see if you have registration holds

The holds must be cleared before you can register for classes.

Admissions Hold (AD)Student must contact the Admissions Office, 1175 Texas Avenue, 248-1875.

Advising Hold (AC): Student must contact IRIS, LHH 127, 248-1177.

Athletic Eligibility Hold (AE)This hold can not be removed while you are on a CMU athletic team. The student must contact the Athletic Department, Maverick Center 229, 248-1503, to register and/or adjust a current schedule.

Bad Address Hold (BA)Student must provide current address either in MAVzone or with an Address Change form located online or in the Registrar's Office. Contact the Registrar's Office, LHH 116, 248-1555.

COF College Opportunity Fund Hold (CO): Student must follow the instructions in the hold. For additional information, contact the Registrar's Office, LHH 116, 248-1555.

Concurrent Student Hold (CC)Student must contact the WCCC Student Services Office, 2508 Blichmann Avenue, 255-2670.

Delayed Disbursement Hold (DD): This hold will not block registration for classes. The student will have their financial aid disbursement delayed for 30 days from the start of classes, for additional information contact IRIS, LHH 127, 248-1177.

English Hold (EH): A student who has completed more than 60 hours of course work will not be permitted to enroll in any additional courses until he/she has registered at IRIS for the appropriate English course as shown on the hold screen. Students can register for the appropriate English course the day before their registration date at IRIS. Once registered IRIS will remove the hold which will allow the student to enroll online at their designated registration date. Exceptions may only be granted by the English Department Head.

Essential Learning Course Hold (ES) A student who has completed more than 75 hours of coursework will not be permitted to enroll in any additional courses until he/she has registered at IRIS for the appropriate ESSL 200 and ESSL 290 course. Students can register for the ESSL courses the day before their registration date at IRIS. Once registered IRIS will remove the hold which will allow the student to enroll online at their designated registration date. 

Extended Payment Plan Hold (EP): Student must contact Student Financial Counseling, LHH 108, 248-1873.

Financial Hold (FH)Student must contact IRIS, LHH 127, 248-1177.

GOALS Hold (GP): Students must set up an advising appointment with the GOALS Program Advisor prior to registering for classes.  GOALS Program, Library 308, 255-2635.

Incomplete File Hold (IC)Admissions documents have not been received. The student must contact the Admissions Office, 1175 Texas Avenue, 248-1875.

Math Hold (MH)A student who has completed more than 60 hours of course work will not be permitted to enroll in any additional courses until he/she has registered at IRIS for the appropriate Math course as shown on the hold screen. Students can register for the appropriate Math course the day before their registration date at IRIS. Once registered IRIS will remove the hold which will allow the student to enroll online at their designated registration date. Exceptions may only be granted by the Math Department Head.

Medical Incomplete Hold (MI)By Colorado law, a student must have proof of two measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) shots. Immunization records signed by a doctor's or appropriate health official or a positive titer test must be provided. The student must submit information to the Registrar’s Office, LHH 116, 248-1855.

Mentor Contract Hold (MC): Student must meet with a Student Mentor, contact the Mentoring OfficeAlbers Hall 012, 248-1765.

Provisional Baccalaureate Hold (PB): Students must set up an advising appointment with the Office of Student Success (OSS) prior to registering for classes.  Office of Student Success, Albers Hall, 248-1340.

Registrar - Stop Out Update Hold (RT): A student who has stopped attending for one semester (excluding summer) will need to contact the Registrar's Office to update general information prior to re-enrollment, LHH 116, 248-1555. A student who sits out more than one semester must fill out a Returning Student Application.

Selective Service Form Hold (SS): By Colorado law, a male student, age 18 or higher, must sign up for selective service at the Selective Service System website prior to enrolling in college. The student must contact the Registrar’s Office, LHH 116, 248-1555.

Social Security Number Hold (SN): CMU is required by the IRS to show proof that we are collecting social security numbers or making attempts to do so in order to comply with the IRS regulation §1.605S-1(e)(4) which requires that institutions report student SSNs on the 1098-T tax form. Therefore, the student must either submit his/her SSN in MAVzone or complete an SSN submission waiver form. By choosing not to submit an SSN to CMU, the student may be subject to IRS fines that could be in excess of $100 per year.

Undeclared Major Hold (UM)Student must see IRIS, LHH 127, 248-1177.

Veteran's Services Hold (VS): Student must contact the Veterans Services Office, LHH 435, 248-1739.

Wellness Plan Hold (WP): Student must contact the Diversity, Advocacy & Health Office, LHH 107, located in the Office of Student Services, 248-1366.
