437CO, CMU’s art gallery in downtown Grand Junction: Glimpse, BFA Senior Exhibition

The Colorado Mesa University Art & Design Department presents Glimpse, the last of four exhibits featuring artwork from seniors graduating from the BFA Studio Art program, in the downtown art gallery from May 3-27.

Glimpse will showcase the artwork of Nicole LaRose, Justin Squier and Patricia Gibson. It will feature materials including porcelain, found objects, and cast metal. Glimpse can be viewed at 437CO, CMU’s art gallery in downtown Grand Junction. As part of their “Senior Seminar” course, students coordinate the senior exhibits as preparation for future professional careers in visual arts.

437CO is located at 437 Colorado Avenue in Grand Junction, CO. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday 12-5pm and admission is free. On Friday, May 5 from 5-8pm there will be a public reception to view the exhibit and meet the artists, with an Artist Talk scheduled for 5:30pm. Wine from Carlson Vineyards and beer from Kannah Creek Brewing Company will be available for purchase at the reception, with proceeds to benefit the Art & Design department’s visiting artist programs.
