Unity in Chaos, Colorado Mesa BFA Senior Exhibition

The Colorado Mesa University Department of Art and Design will present Unity in Chaos, the second of four exhibits featuring artwork from seniors graduating from the BFA Studio Art program, at 437CO, CMU’s art gallery in downtown Grand Junction, from Mar. 1-30. The gallery will be closed for CMU’s spring break from Mar. 18-26.

Unity in Chaos will showcase the artwork of Lindsay Hanson and Caleb Brown, and will feature mediums including bronze, ceramics and printmaking. Unity and Chaos can be viewed at 437CO, CMU’s art gallery in downtown Grand Junction. As part of their senior seminar course, students coordinate the senior exhibits as preparation for future professional careers in visual arts.

437CO is located at 437 Colorado Avenue in Grand Junction. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday 12-5pm and admission is free. On Friday, March 3, from 5-9pm there will be a public reception to view the exhibit and meet the artists, with an Artist Talk scheduled for 5:30pm. Wine from Carlson Vineyards and beer from Kannah Creek Brewing Company will be available for purchase at the reception. For more information, call the art and design department at 970.248.1833.
