Songs of Love and Hate: The New Broadway Songbook

CMU’s Department of Theatre Arts will present the second in its new series of cabaret performances Mar. 10 and 11 at 7:30pm in the Mesa Experimental Theatre in the Moss Performing Arts Center. The concerts are an opportunity for students to gain further and varied experience and to raise money for music theatre scholarships. The Bravo Cabarets are a series of short concerts featuring top music theatre students and special guests Mesa Outloud! Hosted by Jeremy Franklin with accompaniment by Douglas Morrow, these 75-minute concerts make for a perfect date night or night out with friends.

Songs of Love and Hate: The New Broadway Songbook, will celebrate the music of contemporary musical theatre songwriters such as Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) and Benj Pasek & Justin Paul(James and the Giant Peach), among others. The performance is rated R for language and adult content.

Tickets for the Bravo Cabaret Series are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, faculty/staff and $6 for students and are available by calling the box office at 970.248.1604 or ordering online at coloradomesa.edu/mosstickets.
