New Bravo Cabaret Series benefits Music Theatre Scholarships

CMU's Department of Theatre Arts will present a new series of cabaret performances as an opportunity for students to gain further and varied experience and to raise money for music theatre scholarships. The Bravo Cabarets are a series of concerts featuring top music theatre students and special guest Mesa Outloud. Hosted by Jeremy Franklin with accompaniment by Douglas Morrow, these 75-minute concerts make for a perfect date night or night out with friends.

The first cabaret, titled Broadway, Tin Pan Alley and the American Songbook, will celebrate the music of classic Broadway with songs by Richard Rodgers, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin and many more. Featured soloists in this performance will be Brianna Keaney, Alyssa Gose, Mariel Goffredi, Joe Castinado, Quiana McElroy, Katelyn Craig and Heidi Snider. The concert is generously sponsored by Bark's Play and Stay and will be in the Moss Performing Arts Center's Mesa Experimental Theatre.

Tickets for the Bravo Cabaret Series are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and faculty/staff and $6 for students and are available by calling the box office at 970.248.1604.
