Colorado Mesa University Business Students Host 6th Annual Children’s Harvest Fest

Grand Junction - Colorado Mesa University’s Future Business Leaders of America- Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) is hosting Harvest Fest for children 12 and under on Saturday, October 29, from 4:30-7:00 p.m.  The Harvest Festival will be held on the CMU campus in Dominguez Hall on the corner of Cannell and Bunting avenues.

The Children’s Harvest Fest is a secure, enjoyable and controlled environment where adults and children may come to have a wonderful time!  Children, wear your costumes because the festival will include trick-or-treating, a crawl maze, bean bag toss, a costume contest, face painting, a sack race, a cake walk, the Ghost Buster game and other exciting games to win candy and tickets that can be collected to win prizes!  Cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones and much more will also be available!  Admission is $5 per child and will be free for accompanying adults.  

Colorado Mesa University FBLA-PBL students pride themselves in taking part in a number of community service projects designed to promote relationships between the local community and tomorrow’s business leaders.  All proceeds go to help students pay their way to state and national academic competitions.
