2015 Fall for Dance

“Fall for Dance” leaps back into Robinson Theatre

Colorado Mesa University will present its annual Fall for Dance concert on Nov. 20 and 21 in the Moss Performing Arts Center’s Robinson Theatre. CMU’s dance concerts are an exciting blend of dance styles ranging from high-energy hip hop to thought-provoking contemporary work.

Fall for Dance is a program of new works by faculty and world-renowned guest artists, which also features innovative student choreography, all performed by CMU’s dance students. This year’s program will feature work by Megan Glynn, dance program director; visiting professor James Wallace; Colorado Mesa dance alumni Allison Duncan and Gabriele Cahill; current dance major Kacee Montgomery; and guest hip hop choreographer Matthew Montenegro. Audiences will leave inspired by CMU’s exceptional artists.

Fall for Dance will be presented at 7:30pm on Nov. 20 and 21. There will be an additional matinee performance at 2pm on Nov. 21. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for faculty/staff, $8 for seniors and $6 for students. They are available at the CMU Box Office.
