Clinical Education

Once admitted to the Athletic Training Program, athletic training students are required to take a series of five, 2-credit hour Clinical Experience in Athletic Training courses, and two, 2-credit hour Field Experiences courses. During these courses, athletic training students will complete an average of between 20 and 25 hours per week practicing with Colorado Mesa University Athletics and at off campus alternative experiences.

Involvement in the Colorado Mesa University Athletic Training Program will result in some out of pocket expenses to students beyond the customary tuition and fees.  Many of these expenses are listed below.
