Facilities Services performs preventative maintenance and repairs on all CMU campuses. To help keep track of what needs our attention, students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit work orders for anything related to campus buildings or grounds that isn't working properly.

Urgent Maintenance Requests

For urgent maintenance requests, call the CMU Facilities Services helpline at 970.254.HELP. The helpline is monitored seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

We receive numerous services requests each day. Urgent requests are given highest priority. All other requests are then evaluated by importance and order of receipt. 

If your service request has not been fulfilled within a reasonable amount of time, please check for a status update on your School Dude account.  Please feel free to contact us if you have questions regarding the status of your work order. 

If your request was for a Residence Hall room, please contact your Resident Assistant. 

Please do not resubmit work orders.

  4. Fill in the required information regarding your request.
  5. Click the submit button.

  3. Returning users, enter your CMU email address and security password to access your account.
  4. New users, follow these instructions to create your accounts and enter requests.
  5. The submittal password is newuser. 
  6. Check your School Dude account for updates on the status of your request.
