Charles White's experience is in installing home audio/visual networks that include security cameras, home theaters, satellite internet in remote areas where no other internet access is available and trouble-shooting to repair failed products or processes on a machine or a system.

White believes that there are five essential elements conducive to learning:

  1. The teacher's role is to act as a guide.
  2. Students must have access to hands-on activities.
  3. Students should be able to have choices and let their curiosity direct their learning.
  4. Students need the opportunity to practice skills in a safe environment.
  5. Technology must be incorporated into the school day.

Course materials are online, instructor-led and self-paced for students who want to get ahead of the class. His courses use the Cisco Networking Academy course catalog, which include Networking, Cybersecurity, Operating Systems and Programming courses. The majority of students take courses in-person, which is the ultimate way to get hands-on experience to gain career-ready skills. White's interests include keeping informed about the latest developments in cybersecurity.
