Rafi Antar's research interest is in media and child development. He loves engaging students in critical thinking and enjoys different perspectives in his classroom. Antar is currently teaching General Psychology and Human Growth and Development at CMU. He has experience teaching these classes both nationally and internationally. Antar also has experience as a preschool teacher/coach. His main hobbies include soccer (Inter Milan) and music (New wave of British Heavy Metal).

Antar is very close to his students and treat them as friends. He puts focus on a student's improvement in a class, rather than the grade itself.
