Biography

Patti Ward, PhD, received an associate degree in radiologic technology and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management before going on to earn a Master of Education in Technology in Education as well as her PhD in Community College Leadership. Ward spent nine years as a staff radiologic technologist before accepting a faculty position at Colorado Mesa University where she served roles as the clinical coordinator and director of the radiologic sciences program as well as a professor of radiologic sciences. Currently she is an instructor in the radiologic sciences program.

Ward teaches radiographic anatomy and positioning. 

Ward's research areas include learning styles, nonverbal communication, prompted journaling and anything involved in teaching and learning. In addition to teaching, she serves as the president of the Western Slope Society of Radiologic Technologists and as an active member of Altrusa International.
