Biography

Ana Berrizbeitia, PhD, is an active learner educator, meaning her classes are generally loud, active and involving a lot of group work. She teaches all courses in undergraduate pure mathematics, ranging from College Math to Abstract Algebra.

Her areas of research are primarily in Hopf Algebras and Quiver Algebras, but she is also interested in Algebraic Topology, Number Theory and Combinatorics.

She loves the great outdoors and is an avid biker, hiker, backpacker and camper. She also loves baking and wants to have her own bakery someday.
