We know COVID-19 has caused abrupt change, stress and uncertainty for many within the CMU community and worldwide. Remember that you are not going through this alone and the CMU community is here to support you. We have many health and well-being resources available for you to access.

Yes, the Student Wellness Center is open for in-person medical appointments only. To schedule an appointment, call 970.644.3740 ext. 4. If you have fly symptoms, please inform the Student Wellness Center over the phone when you call.
All behavioral health services will be moved to virtual telehealth appointments (no in-person behavioral health services will be available at this time). To schedule a telehealth appointment, call 970.644.3740 ext. 4.

Students can expect a $15 medical and $5 counseling co-pay (HMO patients may have a separate billing arrangement). An additional fee will be charged for special services like procedures, vaccinations, laboratory tests, etc.

For any financial assistance or concerns (due to lack of funds or no insurance) please still call, and we will figure out a solution.

If you are currently in Grand Junction, West Springs Hospital provides walk-in services 24/7. You can call them at 970.201.4299. If you are in Colorado but not Grand Junction, call the statewide crisis services at 844.493.8255 or text “TALK” to 38255.

Students, faculty and staff can use YOU@CMU, a 24/7 online resource that helps track goals and provides ways to balance your academic and social life. 

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention lists healthy ways to help.

The Community Foodbank is also a resource that is available to you.

Yes! Professional mentors assist students in a number of ways, including advocacy, registration, faculty/student relationships, and support students through college and life transitions.
