  • Students are encouraged to continue to identify their Mavilies (Maverick family units) and register them through Student Life. A Mavily can include coworkers, roommates, classmates or just a group of friends from both on- and off-campus. Registering a Mavily enables members to congregate more freely by participating in a regularly occurring COVID-19 testing regimen. Learn more and register today.
  • We continue to stay in close contact with our partners at Mesa County Public Health regarding vaccines. We remain optimistic these will become available soon for those who are most vulnerable/at high risk as well as essential employees. Further communications will follow as soon as we know more definitively when supplies will become available to those mentioned as well as the broader campus community who wish to be vaccinated.
  • The campus community should continue to use the Scout Wellness Passport on a daily basis. Refresh yourself with this tool via the COVID-19 site. Please note that Tomlinson Library is requiring patrons to show their green screen to enter the building.
  • The campus data dashboard has been updated for the week and we are again tracking and reporting COVID-19 cases, and the pandemic’s impact on campus resources.
  • Testing remains available to the campus and community. Please feel free to sign up for testing as needed and encourage any off-campus community members (family, friends, coworkers, etc.) to use the community link to sign up for test as needed. It is vital that students, faculty and staff only use the CMU link to schedule appointments for contact tracing purposes. If you run into scheduling conflicts, please email
  • Please remember to keep close eye on alerts and updates, including e-mails and calls you may receive from our contact tracing team. Your support of these efforts is critical to us slowing the spread of COVID-19 on campus and within the larger community.
As always, email the Safety Team or call 970.248.1366 if you have questions.
