No, students and professors will not be required to wear masks while in academic buildings or while attending class unless an area or activity has been temporarily designated as one requiring heightened caution by an Academic Department Head and the Safety Team. We ask that all members of the campus community practice mindful maskingand respect that many in the campus community will choose to continue to wear a mask at all times. We must honor and respect one another's decision to do so (or not).

Students should fill out a Student Absence Notification eForm, so Student Services can verify student absences with each professor. This will not excuse a student absence, so students will still need to reach out to their professors.
If you have COVID-like symptoms you will need to be evaluated before you can participate in group activities or return to classes. Please record your symptoms in the Scout, which you can access through MAVzone. A member of the COVID response team will reach out with further instructions.
