COVID-19 Career Services Events Update:

Colorado Mesa University is making modifications to various campus policies and guidance and we are committed to the safety and health of our students and of you as employers. These changes will reinforce a commitment to slowing the spread of COVID-19 in the community and keeping everyone safe. Classes for the Fall 2020 semester are planned to be held in person, on campus. CMU has built a Safe Together, Strong Together return to campus campaign with the help of local health professionals and campus leaders to ensure all campus operations will reflect adherence to federal, state and local health orders.

We will inform you of any changes and updates as we continue to work throughout the CMU campus and local community on in-person recruitment events.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to recruiting CMU students!

Career Services Events

The Career Center hosts multiple career fairs and special events every year. These fairs provide a forum where employers can meet and screen candidates and where candidates can distribute their resumes and meet employers.

Fall Job Fair

Held every fall, this fair is geared towards students interested in learning about full-time, part-time, and seasonal employment; internships or practicum's; and career and volunteer possibilities with a variety of companies.

Major Exploration Day

This fair provides students an opportunity to learn about CMU's undergraduate programs and provides a space for students to speak with all CMU departments about their programs.

Graduate School Fair

Held every fall, this event provides CMU students the opportunity to explore several graduate schools and inquire about their master's and professional programs.

Spring Career Connections Job Fair

Held every spring, this fair hosts over 90 employers and is open to the community as well as Colorado Mesa University students and alumni.

Teacher Job Fair

Held in March, this fair welcomes school districts to interview prospective teachers for the next school year. Colorado Mesa University teacher candidates and alumni, teacher candidates from other colleges, and community teachers may all attend.

NOTE: The Career Center reserves the right to screen for duplication of employers representing the same company. Also, if registration fees are not paid, employers will not be permitted to attend future career fairs.
